Some things about Ms. Webb...
I am originally from a very small town in southeastern Indiana, but moved to El Paso when I was three years old. Though I am deeply rooted in my small town home, I am proud to call myself an El Pasoan. I attended Morehead Junior High, graduated from Coronado High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education from New Mexico State University. My father was a U.S. and World History teacher at El Paso High School for over 30 years, and my mother was a teacher's aide and ran a day care for a time. For as far back as I can remember, I have wanted to be an educator. Aside from my love of teaching, I am a mother, and a lifelong learner. When I'm not working, you will usually find me with my nose in a book, listening to music or exercising at the gym.
I believe that learning is the most important thing an individual can do for themselves. Not only completing an educational plan, but also continuing to learn about the world around them. Knowledge is power - it can never be taken from you, and you can use it to do what you are most passionate about.
This is my tenth year teaching, and I have also taught 1st, 4th and 2nd grade. I am proud to be a Putnam teacher, and I love my job. Every day I am given the opportunity to help build a foundation for what will become the narrative for many lives. I remember the teachers that helped ignite my fire for learning, and I hope, in the end, that my students remember me for the same reason.
If you would like to speak with me, my email address is email@example.com , and Putnam's phone number is 236-3225. My conference period is from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.
